This is an excellent establishment to enjoy a night out in a historic village. Great for all occasions, and perfect for a date night with your significant other.
Understaffed during lunch on Sunday. Grilled chicken sandwich was tough. Ordinary white bun. Charged 50¢ extra to substitute cheese type without warning. Charged $1.00 extra for extra mushrooms, but there was still only maybe 1 oz of mushrooms on it. Pepperoni pizza was adequate but unremarkable. Pizza was large. Staff was friendly but too busy.
Server was mildly inattentive. Food tasted pretty good for the other members of my party, but my fried chicken sandwich left a lot to be desired. The root vegetable side was delicious as was my little one's applesauce. Husband's pasta was really good.
You could find better food in the used diaper bin at Walmart. My wife had the rubbery, consistency of old shoe leather prime rib, with what tasted like sawdust with no butter or gravy mashed potatoes and I had the rib eye, which looked like the chef took a meat tenderizer to a pro baseball glove from the 80's and then cooked it in a microwave. We had a wonderful entertaining fly buzzing us the whole time. We were going to take the food to go because we didn't want to deal with feeding a fly, but we got so fed up we told the server to throw the food away. The garbage can patina might taste better. I went to complain to the bald headed manager/bartender about the quality of the food, and he told me it looked great. The owner was sitting just down at of the bar and could not handle defeat as his "steaks" were always the rave. I told them I would pay for the onion rings and the drinks but they wanted me to pay for half of the lukewarm food and drinks. If this is how the place makes its money by forcing customers to pay for half of they're food that gets thrown away then it's really genius! This place is a joke and I would not suggest you go there. Unless of course you like eating old, chewy, leather and dealing with a restaurant owner that can't handle criticism or defeat. Just go to their Facebook page and look for all the deleted reviews. Oh wait, there aren't any reviews.
Went the day we ran Hubie Cushman's Indian Mud Run. We were tired, and all kinds of hungry and found exactly what we needed here. We decided to sit at the bar and just relax, had a mixed drink, some salad, and an entree with THE most delicious sweet potato fries I have ever tasted. Wish we had more time to spend in the area but would recommend this restaurant to a friend.
